I am looking for Susan (Dolly) Delaney. She lives on Front Street. Haven't heard anything from her. She may possibly be in Franklinton if the Lafon Nursing Home out of New Orleans was evacuated there. She is a nurse working for Lafon Nursing Home. Also I am looking for Hub. He lives just outside of Bogalusa. Any information on what Front street looks like and on Dolly and Hub would be greatly appreciated!!!!
Washington Parish, Bogalusa, Angie & Franklinton residents...

I have heard from my father, Dr. Casama who is Coroner of Washington Parish. As of this (Tues.) morning, there was one reported death. James Norman, 45, heart attack. There have been a few more deaths, but identities are not known at this time. If someone can help me compile a list of those missing or unknown in the Parish, he said that he will try to give me updates.

Food and water is very limited, power and phone lines are out. Communication through satellite and hand radios appear to be working.

I am looking for information on Franklin LA. I have family there that we can not get in touch with. We have seen nothing on that area, we are wondering how much if any damage was to that area. Please reply!
A cousin who went to Texas for the storm, but lives in Covington - somehow got in touch with the Bogalusa police department. She said they told her there were no storm related deaths and no 'major' damage in Bogalusa. He also told her that they do not expect to have electricity or phone for weeks. He described the situation as more heavy debris than destruction. Our fingers are still crossed until we hear for ourselves though.

My family lives in Bogalusa - my sister made it out of town yesterday and into Alabama yesterday. There was no gas until they got to Birmingham. They said there is lots of trees down in town and all power lines in the city. I plan to go back down to bring supplies to family that stayed. They had to cut tress to get out of town. If you go down bring enough gas to get back. Will try to get as much info as i can when I go down tomorrow.
