Eid Mubarak!
Eid Mubarak! My wishes for a happy Eid Al Fitr to all my Muslim friends around the world. Haitham Sabbah - with the help of Global Voices authors and editors around the world - has done an amazing job of putting together a trans-national picture of Eid celebrations. The post features stories on Eid celebrations from Palestine, Tunisia, Jordan, Egypt and Bangladesh - it’s a great way for non-Muslims to get a sense for the holiday and for Muslims to see how the holiday is celebrated in other countries.
