[...] So far, not so good, evidently. BBC is hosting today’s sessions and has been plagued with technical problems - the video feed has been unreliable, there’s been no audio feed (my preferred method of participation) and the chat system hasn’t worked. (My guess is the estimable Matt Hassock will have all this fixed for tomorrow’s sessions, which Reuters will host…) [...]

[...] Pledgebank did a lot of work for us, but so did the support and help of bloggers, people with great email lists, word of mouth. First TED and the people lucky enough to have been to a TED conference got a couple of great emails from Chris. Soon to be joined by early bloggers who pledged. Special thanks to Euan, all the people I met at the wonderful Global Voices Online conference,Beth, Nancy, Ethan and Curt [...]

It was a great opportunity to meet people of Global Voices Online in person in London. I had a lot learn from most participants who have done such amazing job for the whole as a whole.

And of course, the lead article of Jane Perrone is my favorite too.

Thanks for inspiring Summit -- and for making it interactive. I'm filled with new ideas, new energy, and above all so appreciative for the opportunity to meet so many bloggers face-to-face that I've only known virtually. Okay, now to catch up, process, and reflect. I'm very interesting in helping move forward curriculum around training and outreach ...

[...] I have returned from London and I feel energized and inspired by all the excellent people I have met at the Global Voices 2005 summit. Of course Rebecca and Ethan did a marvelous job in running the whole thing, a BIG thanks to both of them and everyone who helped them (I can only call by name Catherine Bracy: a BIG thanks to you too Catherine!!!).
Still recovering from the flood of ideas on Saturday! It was an incredible experience Ethan - to finally meet fellow GV-Authors after all the bashing up on IRC.. and the summit was extremely well conducted - Thanks for making the sessions so un-intimidating and free-flowing.
