What's more, we should find how to give them more business. More often than not these excellent business ideas are not around in the long haul and their accumulated experience is lost. Keeping them in my sights.

It is really innovative of Feedelix for adapting existing technologies to local use. The market potential should also target and include those Ethiopians who are abroad, if not yet put into consideration, i mean. More success for Feedelix and it is nice of Ethan to go after such progressive and enlightening news across Africa. Peace

Ethan, thanks for the nod towards AfriGadget. Emeka is a daily read for myself as well, and truly is an inspiration.

I'm also continually amazed at the way Africans find a way to get around the problems that their governments try to force on them. In truly repressive regimes it becomes very difficult, but when on the ground you see what people are doing to fight it.

The Feedelix folks, who I have spoken with briefly, are doing some great things. They might seem small to some of the big tech wizards in the US, but it means a lot to Ethiopians. disruptive technology always frightens corrupt and repressive regimes, so good for them.

This brings an interesting scenario. The way I see it Africans producing such a milestone is worth noting. Mark my words, this carrier-independent transmission may be a major event. Fighting repressive regime on one side and concern from carriers is a tough area to navigate.

One wishes that these African folks take this thing all the way.
