I am originally from Somaliland and we have had peace in our country for past 15 years yet we are not international recognised. When a country is doing well no one is interested, we are grouped together with Somalia which is a failed state. Oil and mineral rights of Sanaag and Sool (part of Somaliland) have been sold to western governments by a so-called government that do not or have not had a hand in our country for the past 15 years. I do not think that Somaliland will be recognised internationally because the US, UK others and would lose out on oil and mineral deals. As for Somalia the situation is complex and will not be solved easily. Whether Nigeria is more complex than Somalia? My sister who is working Nigeria, says it a great Country if you have money and protection while out in Lagos. I think that both countries are complex in their own ways.

Somalia needs to take Somaliland's path and learn its experience since the past 17 years.

If the world recognize Somaliland then the Somalia's problem will be solved. That is the issue we all need to understand.

I think all person living in any country are not bad. And how any one can define the complexity of a country, the main motive and responsibility of a country
is the governing person of that country.
