The deeper i delve into this subject, the stranger answers i get i have been scanning cyberspace for mumbai related material but haven’t been very successful up until this point, this blog provided me with something i can actually learn from! i’m currently doing a project on Mumbai at college & i’ve been running into article after article of the exact same info. i can’t understand why they do it! if you feel strong enough feelings to create a blog on a subject especially one as current as this, why wouldn’t they come up with their own opinions? i commend you for going that extra mile in your “…My heart’s in Accra » Citizen voices and the Mumbai attacks” page.

Don’t know when Pak indo stress will end, their relation was very excellent in last year, may be there are some person who don’t want to see us in high spirits and they are creating troubles in our way, if you look at history everything is going fine they start local buses, business, exchanging other business and even sports, and now …?? Just think what should be duty of one individual it does not matter its Pakistan or Indian; everyone wants peace and fantastic life, I will request to all give don’t make it big issue, think about the result, may be then we will find any good way
Thanks

Ethan, great roundup.

Did you know that Bighow.com covered and aggregated useful links during tragedies in India - e.g. the bihar floods and the Mumbai Terror attacks.

Bighow.com is a free, all-in-one online publishing tool and we plan to foster a editorled cum user led content model on Bighow. By the way, Bighow is an Indian startup.

[...] …My heart’s in Accra » Citizen voices and the Mumbai attacks "I often grouse that I’d like mainstream media sources to pay attention to the work we do at Global Voices between conflicts, not just during conflicts. But that may not be a reasonable expectation. It’s important that we cover every corner of the world as well as we can as often as we can, as the relationships and expertise we develop in the process is what lets us report well during crises… much as the presence of world-class bloggers in Kenya helped us follow the violence that followed Kenya’s election. Would the violence in Jos, Nigeria, which has recently claimed over 200 lives, be more prominent in the headlines if citizen media were complementing professional reporting? Or would Jos need to be more connected with the rest of the world before it had this population of bloggers… and would this connection lead to more thorough coverage?" (tags: global conflict international citizen+journalism social+media journalism mainstream+media tidbits+fodder) [...]
