		<description>All very well. But this model works for food in a society with a basic subsistence level - which you can live off. It doesn&#039;t work for music in a modern cash economy - you need to have a price on music in order to buy things.

Under the civic model, there may be more music all around, just as there would be more meat. But more music isn&#039;t going to feed the professional artist.</description>
