Me, danah, Trebor at the New School tonight…

Filed under: Personal — Ethan @ 2:22 pm

Hey New Yorkers - it’s a beautiful day down here. Take a stroll down to the West Village and drop in on the talk I’ll be giving with friend danah boyd and Trebor Scholz at the New School this evening. The panel’s called “Democratization and the Networked Public Sphere” and takes place at the Lang community center at 55 West 13th Street. 6:30pm, $8, should be a good time - hope to see some of you there…

ethan, i really enjoyed the semi-structured conversation this evening. i never considered just how similiar suburban parents and third world dictators are when it comes to censorship and restricted access to public spaces. all the best.

I thought it was a great panel. Lots of thought provoking stuff that I’ll have to sort through more over the weekend.

    Cheers, Rik
